Why Coaching?

Most independent garden center owners and GMs know something needs to shift to take their team to the next level, but don’t always have the space to think clearly about what or how.

​

They’re overloaded.

​

Too many decisions.
Too many people issues.
Too much still routing back through them.

​

Over time, that weight shows up as slower decision-making, frustration with managers, reactive leadership, or simply feeling more alone than you expected to feel.

​

Coaching isn’t motivation.
And it’s not therapy.

​

It’s structured thinking time with someone who understands your world — someone who has sat in the GM seat, knows what Spring feels like, and understands the tension between margin, culture, and growth.

The work is simple, but not easy:

Clarify what matters.
Name what’s not working.
Strengthen how you lead.
Build a team that can carry more of the load.

Sometimes that means tightening structure.
Sometimes it means developing a manager.
Sometimes it means confronting something you’ve been tolerating too long.

My role isn’t to give you answers.

It’s to ask better questions, challenge blind spots, and help you build leadership capacity that lasts beyond the current season.
